The JHind Taurus India Private Limited weapons factory structure, from Taurus' joint venture with Jindal Group, has been completed in the city of Hisar, India. In addition, the process of acquiring the machines has started and all the necessary documentation in this process is being implemented. With this, the forecast is that the operation starts in less than six months.

After a significant delay due to difficulties created by the Covid-19 pandemic, the factory project in India is underway. In February, the first Taurus do Brasil team went to the country for a technical visit and also carried out a demonstration of the characteristics and performance of products to authorities of the Indian Armed Forces and Police to participate in future bidding processes in progress, which could generate significant results. for Taurus due to the large and promising market.

Now, after the completion of the factory construction works, the next step is to install the machines as quickly as possible.

The process for obtaining the installation certificate is being carried out, which can take about two weeks, and when it is issued, the necessary equipment will be installed. With the certificate issued and the machines in operational condition, work will begin this year.

JHind Taurus India Private Limited will be the first weapons factory in the State of Haryana. The partnership through the joint venture with the Brazilian company Taurus Armas for the manufacture of various types of light weapons in the city of Hisar was celebrated during the first Brazil-India Defense Industry Dialogue, of the India-Brazil Business Forum (IBBF), organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of India. Through this agreement, Taurus will be responsible for the transfer of technology and the weapons will be manufactured in Indian territory by the Jindal Group, in accordance with the "Make in India" program that aims to develop the local industry.

“Finally, we are starting to see the implementation of a difficult work, which had a lot of dedication from Taurus to face the difficulties of the Covid pandemic period, such as delays in the trip of the team to India and in the beginning of the assembly of the infrastructure. Now, with the project underway, the results should happen quickly. Our engineers are at the factory to give full support in terms of infrastructure, receive the equipment and machinery, to start production later this year. We have good expectations for 2022 with the entry into the Indian market which is already bringing us opportunities for possible bids from the Indian Armed Forces and Police. And in India everything is superlative, it is the second most populous country in the world, with very large numbers in any tender, including for the supply of the immense military, police and private security market. We are very hopeful that India will generate a very strong result in the coming years”, says Taurus Global CEO Salesio Nuhs.

Good for you and India. Hurry hurry get ready. High food prices and shortages will bring hordes of the anti-life planet destroyers down upon those who have something. Indians have a nice place. Parasites will want to take it.

They will make rifles, pistols and revolvers destined to supply the civil market, private security personnel, and police forces in India.
Nice!
You happen to work in Taurus//IMBEL or know someone there etc ? Just wondering what would be shared and assembled/manufactured here by Jindal, personally i am very much excited about Taurus PT92 (Beretta 92 "original" clone) and Taurus T4 (AR-15 clone)

They should also roll out .32 ACP version of PT92 and .22 LR version of T4 here for civilians (if our stingy gun laws ever permit for a semi-auto .22 LR rifle)
