Private sector credit shrinks by 98pc

KARACHI: Bank lending to the private sector has shrunk to just Rs28 billion this fiscal year after plummeting 98 per cent compared to last year, central bank data showed on Tuesday.

The State Bank reported that from July 1 to May 19, the private sector borrowed a record low Rs27.9bn from banks compared to Rs1.414 trillion a year ago.

The economy has been facing a constant problem of a record-high interest rate of 21pc and headline inflation at 36.4pc. Average inflation is estimated to reach 30pc this fiscal year, which ends in June.

“There is no chance to run a business with such a high interest rate and an unprecedented 36pc inflation,” Aamir Aziz, who manufactures and exports finished textile products, told Dawn. He said textile exports had already started falling and feared that things would worsen in the coming months since millers had exhausted their cotton stocks.

“The country has produced five million cotton bales while the need is about 15 million bales. The country has no foreign exchange for imports and this is the reason that the private sector is out from the banks,” he said.

Bankers said interest rates were much higher than the policy interest rate of 21pc, depending on risks attached to borrowers. They said businesses couldn’t sustain in this scenario.

What are the 2% businesses that can afford ~21% interest rate? 🧐

Not only that he even hosted him at house in lahore, I have read that, he invited Lt kheter pal father, they did some sight seeing etc in lahore and around.
And he finally broke the secret on last day of his stay, that he was the officer who had killed his son.
Told him it was part of war and he had to do it as his duty required him to, said that his son fought like a young lion.

It was in the past, as in they considered their pre-Christian ancestors to be filthy degenerates( which is sorta true but not entirely ) because of being pagan.
Since 18th century backed by goras, Greek nationalism combines both the ancient, the middle Byzantine/Eastern Roman/Orthodox and modern era struggle against Ottoman and Turki together.

However Greeks get triggered if you call them mixed with slavs and turks etc, they believe they are 100% descendant of the same toga-wearers from Alexander's time, unbroken, Pakis meanwhile search for Arab abbu, Turki abbu etc, not recognizing that their ancestors were Hindus

Also their pagan revival falls in the same bracked generic gora ones, on one side are godless Lefties who hate Christianity because it is too regressive, oppressive, yada yada yada on the other are godless Nazi LARPers who hate Christianity because it is "weak" and JEWISH!!! OY VEY!!!, in essence these Baganisms are a reaction to modern political scenarios, they don't actually believe in or worship the "old gods". :bplease:

As compared to your average DMK-voting Tamil who probably goes to more temples, does more Puja and worships more gods combined than the active users on this forum :troll:

Oh btw right wing westerners view Yog as degenerate because it's Indian, not necessarily pagan.
I was talking about my experience with the Greeks. They are not pushy like the American and Anglo-Saxon Christians, but they are unabashed about their identity as Orthodox Christians. The old Hellenic Greeks were not entirely degenerated and it is possible that the Christians twisted and mistranslated their history just as they call us Buddhists some tree-hugging pacifist hippies and you Hindus some low-life savages.

But today, Greeks do not even try to see who they really were. Some years ago, I met a Hellenic revivalist who said that their texts were burned by the Orthodox Church ages ago so they have no means to research. They are borrowing the concept of hymns from Hindu organizations in Europe to revive their own hymns.

Today's Greeks have completely given up on their past. They don't even research their own culture independently because they themselves condemned their past and destroyed their identity. And they are proud of it. Much of the negative image of any pagan faith around the world has been due to colonial Christian propaganda.

The Incan/Mayan painting interpretations, the Egyptian Hieroglyphics, the Mithraist Romans, the Hellenic Greeks, the Hindus and Buddhists all have one thing in common - they are portrayed as cults, sexually-perverted, hateful of "humanity".

Any reasons why all pagan background faiths are painted with the same image? Because Abrahamic religions are perverted and degenerate themselves. They project their own mentality on others and call them evil.

I personally feel that the Greeks are just a more civil version of Pakistanis that suffer from a serious identity crisis of faith.

Ummah-chummah alag hai, Business is business :troll:
Malaysia needs to be taught a lesson too. The way they are hiding Zakir Naik, we should harden our position towards them. Let them be Chinese shills for all they want and become another Sri Lanka. Ideally, I'd favour a covert op to take Naik down in their country itself (without the need to do all court drama). It would send a chilling message.

But knowing the Indian approach, even a diplomatic assault would be acceptable.
