Meh. Bahria town is still the "city" that i will say has the best infrastructure in the subcontinent. Very wide roads, proper footpaths and planned layout (dont see any slums either) and above all, very clean. From newer videos, the plots are filling up rapidly. Bahria town is probably the only redeeming factor of Pak. India needs such townships for the middle class to live in since our municipalities are incapable of delivering anything close.

muh inflastakca, what meaningful service can the porkies provide aside from footballs and textiles ? their abbus either have oil or technological superiority or have stable economies everybody and their mother wants to invest into. What's the point of this shiny turd city ? how is it going to generate income ?

It seems they are spending entire countries money in these gated societies.

Calling Bahria town a city is more than just a overstatement. It literally looks like a township in the middle of a desert. It does not have any slum because slums only exist in areas where proper housing is not available due to overpopulation. This however looks like a ghost town. Plus those residential buildings looks even worse than slum redevelopment housing projects of Delhi.
