Yes it will not be removed, but it's a win win situation of they can link the renewal to removal of the law.
If renewal is successful then the country will plunge into never ending violence, and failed then tata bbye to their textile exports in EU.

Since US has imposed tariffs on chinese manufactured products, China might move those products manufacturing lines to Pakistan. Need to keep an eye on Pakistani exports to USA

Looks like Pakistan is reporting more imports than their ports can handle. Looks like some shady reporting going on. Most probably weapon imports passed off as petroleum and medicine imports

Which industries they set up? Those phone and car factories are not high tech. They are very low tech. They are more into assembly. The phone factories they have set up is 2G/3G phones with very limited functionality.

yes but they can build up from there, give they have a population of 200millions so, it make sense for some foreign companies to go further. Agreed stil far from real industrialisation but they seem to be getting ready with atleast basics for now like electricity road networks etc

should target their current exports. i know it wont make economic sense to govt. but but perhaps giving massive subsidy to industries competing with pakistani exports, will definitely dent their meager export. Things like textile or sport goods or whatever they produce. Also keep the FATF or similar economic pressure sustained so that even remittance to pakiland becomes difficult. let the paki choke in their own debt.

I remember pakis boasting is pesab defence how an avg. paki is so wealthy , having possession of so much material wealth or whatever. Let the pakis know that anyone can buy material possesions with borrowed money while doing nothing, the real game is how to pay it back , specially when your per capita gdp is most abysmal in the region and pakis are certainly not the creatures who understands discipline and hardwork. they can live in their fairytale land where they capture foreign land and feasted upon less fortunates . Now they have a nation which is slowly going to drains. Lets hasten it.

If wishes were Horses even beggars would ride. Investors don't come running to your country because you have a huge population. If that was the case they would first come to India since we have bigger population than Pakistan. There are so many parameters which investors take into account like rule of law, bureaucracy, country's financial system, size of the middle class, how open their economy is, country's integration with other economies etc. If anyone wants to invest in manufacturing in Pakistan that will be Chinese. Until now they are more interested in sucking every penny out of them than investing in their country.
