Pakistan as it seems with bad economy, failure to attract outside money (IMF or aid money) and internal political turmoil with the Army in the middle of the slugfest of politicians is moving fast to become a failed state. Add to it the Islamization influence, power wielded by Mullahas, it is unlikely that Pakistan will ever recover from its deep trouble.Three contenders of power in Pakistan
Three Pakistani power blocks internally namely the Pakistani Muslim League (N} lead by Sharif brothers, the Tehreek e Insaf party lead by Imran Khan and the Army, are unable to agree who will hold the political power. The Army is the most powerful of all the three and could continue to side with the Sharif government as the other favoured boy. The Imran Khan is out of favour now. Hence elections or no elections, it is the Army who will decide about the political power sharing. It seems today that the Army itself does not wish to grab the power in the middle of economic crisis Pakistan is facing now. They prefer civilian government which is at their mercy and negotiate with IMF to hold the power.
There is no talk of cutting the military expenditure at all. Everything else including subsidies they wish to be reduced.
This slugfest will continue until the upcoming elections. The Army will make sure that Imran Khan does not come to power. Either he will be disqualified or his candidates in the election will be intimidated to quit. Hence sharif brothers will continue to hold the piwer.
Mullahas can unleash thousands upon thousands of Madrassa students and recent graduates who are in the Army and other security services and force the turnover of power to islamists or the Army. As usual the Army or the Mullahas could rule Pakistan.
In this development, danger of war with India are great. The new rulers of Pakistan could start the war to satisfy the public demand for three things:……. 1) Try and grab Kashmir…….2) Prove the invincibility of Islam……… 3) Sabotage India’s rapid economic development and industrialization.
All three are well talked about issues in the Islamic sermons in Pakistan. They are unaware that in last ten years, India has grown militarily more powerful with all round military development and modernization. Hence, Islamic sermons or no sermons, India can hand them down a defeat unparalleled to 1971 Dhaka surrender. The defeat could result in not one Pakistan but breakup into four states totally disinterested states in the capture of Kashmir but their own survival. This is scenarios which is possible, should the Islamists or the even the Army grabs the power……… India watch out for this scenario.
