They have Hindi Youtube channel as well. Also BBC has Hindi and Marathi Youtube channels. BBC might have other regional language channel but I am not sure about which ones.
TBH the western powers (1st and 2nd world countries as they like to call themselves) have always wanted to control India and in this information age they have much better power to do that.
BBC has Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Bangla, and much more. They have covered almost every single Indian vernacular.
On top of this BBC regularly broadcasts their propaganda news pieces in form of 30 mins to 1 hour shows on leftist mainstream media channels including leftist regional news channels on prime time slots.
Their format is same accross all languages. India bad, Modi bad, Hindu bad. Those who are in opposition of Modi for political reasons gobble up this narrative because it validates their political beliefs. This is why they have a huge following even at regional level.
Western world doesn't want to just control India. They want to convert India into mirror image of themselves. In western mind, they see themselves as superior to other savage races including Indians. They believe the only way to culture us savages is to bring western philosophy of life into our brains. This includes liberal democracy, western clothing, western languages, western food, western religion, western economics, western values and western worldview.
Their "news outlets" are just one of many tools in their arsenal to demoralise a population to accept superiority of western ways.
