Turks want to outgrow their tutelage of NATO and position themselves as neo-ottomans.
For such kind of delusion plan, they have revisited their history and infuse self confidence in their population that such feat can be again done with adequate planning.
So they have set eyes on Central asian state with so called turkic origin shared. Focused on sub-continent countries like India and Pakistan using the M card. This will down the line create trouble for all of us.
yes,but in todays world ,in order to be any serious power or player, you must have a deep industrial base and your county should have good research and technology developing institutions. That limits your countries options in terms of human development.you cant have a large percentage of your population wasting away in low stats for science education and have a bad attitude towards education and science in general.
So if turkey wants to be a serious player, that means it cant be a serious islamic player as islam is the most anti science and anti education religion there is.it will not be consistent with their contemporary culture, even though they might dream of being ottomans.
Also a critical percentage of the turkish population is beyond the allure of islam and turkey also has a good strong foundation for atheism and non-religousity in terms of the memes of ataturk.
It will be hard for turkey to be a strong player by fulling embracing islam like pakistan.
At best it will be skin deep lip service to islam which will be considered haram by actual primitive islam worshippers in pakistan with normal tech and education focused civil society and culture and economy.
