Cultural export and soft power is a myth. On the contrary it makes us look weak and non-serious people.

There are more important areas which can make our global perception stronger. During covid this so called cultural export was dead but electing a party with strong majority backed by Hindu consolidation and the surge of Hindu consciousness not only made us stable politically read preferred FDI destination but also a serious economic power.

Other than few jobless emotional clowns people hardly care how Bollywood goats mehmeh with open arms on foreign locations.

Furthermore Bollywood only caters Jihadi nerratives and narratives which have become toxic to organic Indian life and its larger civilisational ethos.

Contrary to belief they hurt the culture more and only present hindu culture as bad and compare Hindus to Nazis with their portrayal of Hindus as bad.

And the soft power which people talk about which we get from Bollywood is negligible or non existent with social media.

Are we defending Bollywood? They are 3rd rate frauds. Probably Pakistani content makers have more dignity than these Bollywood Dallas. My blood boils when I see any of them. All there movies are derogatory towards Hinduism. Never seen Pakistani portraying their religious and religious symbols like this.

Not to defend but it's an open fact they copy paste music, story, screenplay even entire scenes. But pakis did have a lot of influence on Bhandwood probably because it ran on Dawood money who himself lives in that country. Bollywood is an easy way to earn big money for Pakis and that's why so many Paki artists used to make a beeline in Bolly movies. Especially the Dalla Mahesh Bhat introduced so many Paki singers, composers and actors in Bhaiwood.

I have stopped watching mainstream bollywood long time back . I am sure there are many like me . Though i liked Some less budget movies like pansing tomar , Tumbbad and few others i cant remember name . The thing is lack of original stories , item dance stuffs , vary bad direction has brought this industry down . Its full of nepotism . Creativity only thrives where there is fare competition .
