We refuse to game the system then wonder why things don't work out our way when the truth is on our side. Take the case of small time researcher visiting a military installation to find how it is manned or managed.

1 Pakistan - Sends message to GHQ- Gets personalised call from Local HQ representative - gets a jeep or car sent to hotel to come to base- gets escort from a Colonel to show all relevant areas and how beautiful it is maintained - Colonel nearly kidnaps the researcher and takes to his humble home where his wife feeds HONOURED GUEST - then after RESEARCH is completed depending on how important it is to Pakistan you can also meet DG-ISPR - small request - write nice report or we may not be able to allow you back again.

2 India- sends request to Defence Ministry - No Reply - sends again -No reply - visits the said base and asks at gate to talk to CO for permission - Gets rifle bayonet on neck with crisp GET LOST- goes to Defence Ministry - No Reply - returns to find Police asking why are you here? Who you have met?- Gets nearly kidnapped to local police station - witnesses people getting FRIENDLY PATS from Indian Police - promises never to return and writes exactly so that nobody comes to verify.

There need a better PR machine on behalf of Indian Defence Establishment as well as various think tanks that can do the talking on their behalf..I think ORF is one of them...but there needs to be more..
Also ORF is expanding its wing in the DC area ..so looks like a nascent Indian Lobby group is growing in to counter the Pakistanis..
I feel like Indians might be winning in Hard power stuff as well as Political leverage but loosing in soft power and media in the US.
Comedians like Hasan Minaj etc who are although Indian origin usually sell the Pak narrative in the US.. and there is none from Indian plus Hindu aspect who can do the defending.. Even Jews who always get portrayed as the bad guys in Israel-Palestanian conflict usually have a pretty good soft power personalities ( Ben Shapiro etc) to defend Israel's POV ...there is none on India's POV
