UAE top brass are not idiots : they don't want to pay twice the price for a slow stealthy goose.

In Holland F35 was choosen on a paper basis, with just a slight increase versus Rafale. On Paper F35 was a super cruising.... it is not.
Switzerland : a inquiery of the process is on course.
etc.... etc...
Canada? Never seen a F35 purchase.
