The difference is that Tempest has a clear leader : GB, already involved in the F35.Brits also bought F 35 but they are also pursuing Tempest.
Both can find a place.
So what? France still has Spain to develop the Aircraft with. The difference is that Tempest has a clear leader : GB, already involved in the F35.
SCAF has to be leaded by France, and we clearly said that a F35 purchase is not allowed (because we will have to share too much with the F35 cloud I think).
No VTOL variant : too complicated to have a "same" frame for a CTOL and VTOL plane (see F35), and too few numbers to be produced. So what? France still has Spain to develop the Aircraft with.
Maybe even develop a VTOL variant for Spanish Carrier.
lol not happening.....We haven't earned it yet....If Germany is kicked out maybe a joint Indo French 6th gen fighter jv????
France is an independent power quite unlike other European countries and quite opposed to the anglo saxon alliance.
