Guess Taiwan is being unfair to the aircraft for halting flights. Unfair...wow that is BLM woke.

Maybe they just don't want any more loss of man or machine due to any issue that might have skipped their eyes. they have been operating F16 for quite some time now

according to you it is unfair to speculate and would thus be unfair and wrong to take any actions based upon speculation. They have stopped training flights based upon speculation. Unfair, how dare they do that. BLM woke.

No, i just meant that speculating whose fault it is - man's or machine's, is difficult to judge without any details and also unfair. Better to take a precautionary approach with such expensive machinery and even more scarce combat pilots.
BLM is some American BS, I don't relate to it.

Okay.

IMO laying blame on the PILOT without proof is unjust. A man is innocent until proven guilty. Therefore, to be just we lay blame upon the machine until we have proof otherwise. Just as Taiwan did.

RE: BLM

You should learn BLM. It is NOT American BS. It is an invasion and usurpation of the US. The hunt for wealth. Is India equal? NO. Does India have wealth? so much. They will come for India and Hinduism too. The share the wealth, equalists, can see India is NOT equal. That is their way in to the hearts and minds of people. They will come for India. They will share until there is nothing left and we can no longer try to slowly lift us up.
Prepare. Hurry hurry, prepare.

America defeated Communism to be usurped by Marxism later, interesting. I have friends and relatives there in the States, they tell me about this stuff. It was crazy arson and lawlessness to drive out Trump and bring in the Democrats. The US's right-wing needs to equip itself better with people who can proactively carry their points forward and not just react to the narratives set by the cultural Marxists in the media and academia
.
India's case is entirely different, there is no left-wing(they are just Islamist and anti-Hindu groups), or right-wing(they are religious Hindu economic leftists). As of now, Hindu-left is on the dominant but the Islamists' nexus(with active support from the BLM elements of the West) has a pretty strong ecosystem here too.
Okay.

Any fighter jet operates in crazy flight envelopes and any fighter jet can crash, no matter how great that piece of machine that is- F22, F35, Rafales, Sukhois, Mirages, Migs - all have had their fair share of crashes. F16Vs are super awesome machines but they are fighter jets after all they can crash like any other jet out there.

what is a training flight? it that an unskilled pilot, pilot new on the jet or pilot learning tactics?
Capt. Chen, the missing pilot, joined the air force in March 2020 and had accumulated a total flight time of nearly 322 hours, including more than 60 hours in a F-16. Crash occurred at sea in the afternoon without any distress call. Usually, engine failure or other technical problems lead to distress call.

The Taiwan Air Force has suffered a string of incidents during the past two years, several of them deadly. Two F-5E fighter pilots were killed during a training mission in March. A top-ranking Taiwanese military officer, Shen Yi-ming, was among eight personnel killed in a helicopter crash in January 2020. At least four other pilots have been killed or gone missing in other recent incidents.

Just Incase someone is interested in knowing about what Data is displayed on the HUD of an F-16 than refer to this Video made by Grim reapers. It's a good Video to understand the HUD nomenclature of the F-16.

Also I will examples of 10 types of Data Displayed on the F-16 HUD:

1)Aircraft Flight Data – Airspeed, altitude, horizon line, slip/skid indicators, turn/bank (G-forces)

2)Navigation Data – this information aids the pilot in approach and landings.

3)Flight Path Vector – shows the direction the aircraft is actually going to follow.

4)Angle of Attack Indicator – displays the wing’s angle compared to the airflow.

5)Target Designation Indicator – puts a marker over an air or ground target.

6)Range to Target – distance from aircraft to a selected target.

7)Launch Acceptability Region – notifies pilot if the weapon is within its range of a target.

8)Closing Velocity with a Target – the speed at which the aircraft is getting closer to a particular target.

9)Weapon Seeker – shows where the sensor is aiming.

10)Weapon Status –contains complete information with concern to the number of weapons, what is selected, and whether they are armed or not.

Lockheed Martin: Bulgaria to receive newest F-16 training simulators
f-16-training-simulator.jpg

Bulgaria will receive F-16 simulators produced by Lockheed Martin to train its pilots for national and Nato defence missions, the US firm said on January 27.

As one of the first nations to receive the F-16 Block 70 aircraft, Bulgaria will also receive training simulators that reflect the aircraft’s newest and most advanced configuration, the media statement said.

Bulgaria will have a fleet of eight latest-generation F-16 Block 70 supersonic fighters.

The F-16 Block 70 features the most advanced fourth-generation fighter aircraft capabilities in Nato’s inventory today, the statement said. It provides interoperable capabilities within air forces, enhancing partnerships with allies and supporting national defence and security

“The latest generation Lockheed Martin F-16 training suite allows aviators to train in a holistic, realistic environment, which ensures mission readiness,” according to Chauncey McIntosh, vice president of Lockheed Martin’s Training and Logistics Solutions business.

To prepare Bulgaria’s F-16 pilots, the new training suites will provide a simulation-based environment that replicates all systems, sensors and weapons. This total training solution can be networked so pilots can train together in various scenarios, delivering advanced training while meeting affordability goals, Lockheed Martin said.

The company said that the F-16 Block 70 aircraft, manufactured in Greenville, South Carolina, features advanced avionics, a proven active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, a modernised cockpit, advanced weapons, conformal fuel tanks, the automatic ground collision avoidance system (Auto GCAS), an advanced engine and an industry-leading extended structural service life of 12 000 hour

To date, more than 4500 F-16s have been produced, with approximately 3000 F-16s operating today in 25 countries, including with the US Air Force. Worldwide, the F-16 has flown an estimated 19.5 million flight hours and more than 13 million sorties, the statement said.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has been selected by Defense Logistics Agency Aviation to provide a brake control system redesign for the United States Air Force fleet of F-16 aircraft.

“The F-16 Brake Control System Redesign program is yet another testament to the unique capabilities of Crane Aerospace & Electronics,” said John J. Crane Aerospace & Electronics has more than 75 years of experience in providing brake control systems, with more than 30,000 systems in operation today.

“We are proud to furnish a state-of-the-art replacement brake control system for the F-16 aircraft that provides improved safety, reliability and performance while reducing maintenance and addressing obsolescence,” said Ryan Sands, Crane Aerospace & Electronics Vice President & General Manager, Landing & Control Systems. “This selection underscores DLA and USAF’s continued confidence in Crane’s demonstrated ability to develop and field high-performance brake control systems to modernize and upgrade existing aircraft.”

I am copy pasting one of my posts made in Pakistan F-16 thread:

In 1987 ,PAF lost an F-16 during a skirmish with Soviet MIG-23s, Soviet Union during That time said that they shot down a PAF F-16 using their MIG-23s ,but PAF attributed the Loss of that F-16 to Friendly by another F-16. My question here is did PAF F-16s during that Time have IFF(Identification Friend or Foe) intsalled in their F-16s?

American F-16 Fighters are Working with NATO Allies in the Baltics

While the exercise has been planned for quite some time, the presence in Baltic region fortifies NATO’s deterrence posture. American F-16 Fighting Falcons flew from Germany to Poland on a long-planned deployment earlier this month.

The U.S. Air Force fighters have been scheduled to operate with Belgian and Polish fighters in the region for several months, but the exercises may take on greater significance in light of Russia’s military buildup along the Ukrainian border.

A U.S. Air Force press release said the fighters will “will practice advanced airborne maneuvers and work closely with Combined Air Operations Centre Uedem (CAOCUE) to enhance command and control procedures.” CAOCUE is responsible for NATO air policing in the region.

The aims of the exercise are multi-faceted. The operations will improve interoperability among partner nations while also enhancing command and control protocols. NATO and the US are moving quickly to demonstrate readiness.

A key concept with the exercise is to refine and improve “enhanced air policing” that relies heavily on secure networking and data sharing with allied forces. The mission will focus on the Baltic region.

While the exercise has been planned for quite some time, the presence in Baltic region fortifies NATO’s deterrence posture.

The F-16s were likely communicating with Link 16 and also assessing the ability of aircraft to land in new areas at allied bases to reinforce operations, strengthen partnerships, and also demonstrate the ability to maneuver and deploy fighter aircraft over high-value areas near Russia’s border.

Squadron Leader Ather Hussain Bokhari (later VCAS PAF) poses in front of his F-16. On night of 4 August 1988 he shot down Soviet Su-25 over Miranshah. Sukhoi's pilot, Colonel Alexander Rutskoi, a senior instructor was taken prisoner. Rutskoi later became Vice President of Russia.

F-16 Block 70/72 for #Bulgaria are delayed.

The #American company Lockheed Martin does not have time to produce multifunctional combat aircraft F-16 Block 70/72 for Bulgaria.

It is reported by Militarniy.
the reason for the delay is a wave of #coronavirus.

The Biden administration is weighing a Turkish proposal to buy a fleet of F-16 jet fighters, but it faces opposition from members of Congress critical of Turkey’s growing ties to Russia.
Looks like no more F-16s for Turkey. This is what you get for buying S-400. Erdogan is keeping up with his blunders.
