I would cheer on Edrogan only for the reason that it would fuck up NATO big time and put eggs on western leaders. It would give manuevering space to India and other countries and allow India to tell the US to shut the fuck up and start exercising common sense.

It definitely would if the US refused to enforce the NATO defense pact clause. Turkey and Greece did go to war in the 70's and no one did anything after all. Idk what it says about fellow NATO countries attacking each other, but most likely the aggressor would be kicked out of NATO and then just treated as an adversary attacking a NATO country.
