Egypt flays Pakistan’s intervention in Bangladesh’s internal issues

Pakistan cannot intervene in Bangladesh’s domestic issues, says the Egyptian Ambassador in Dhaka Mahmoud Ezzat.

“Egypt will be the first country to say ‘no’, if Pakistan intervenes in Bangladesh’s domestic issue,” he said, when journalists sought his comment on Bangladesh’s war crimes trial on Wednesday.

The ambassador, who is also the dean of diplomatic corps in Dhaka, hosted a ‘tea party’ at his office for the new executives of the Diplomatic Correspondents’ Association, Bangladesh (DCAB).

Pakistan has been criticising the ongoing war crimes trial as those who are being tried collaborated with them in the 1971.

Bangladesh won independence after the nine-month bloody war.On Wednesday, the Supreme Court upheld the death sentence of Jamaat-e-Islami chief Motiur Rahman Nizami who orchestrated the massacre of Bangladesh’s best brains in 1971 using his ruthless Al-Badr militia.

Egypt from the beginning has been supporting the war crimes trial. The ambassador said Cairo “cannot comment on internal issues” of a country.

“We always support Bangladesh,” he said, mentioning that Cairo established diplomatic ties with Bangladesh soon after its independence.Bangladesh being an independent country has its own right to take its own decision and maintain independence, the ambassador said.

He said Bangladesh has its own right to protect it from any kind of intervention from any countries including Pakistan.

Now your Muslim brother Egypt is ALSO telling you not to intervene in internal affairs of BD.

Pakistan is the BIGGEST KILLER OF MUSLIMS ever.

@rock127, you have a massive list of people whom you tag in every post. Trust me, I go through most posts, even if I am not tagged. Thanks for tagging me anyway.

I will add to this that Egypt also declined Saudi Arabia's request to cut diplomatic ties with Iran. So, I think Egypt is in good hands, so far at least.

Pakistan carried out genocide in 1971 but it wasn't 3 million. This is an Awami League figure repeated again and again. The real number of dead could be anything between 1/3 of a million to 1/2 a million, maybe even more.

Still a huge number of people slaughtered and definitely genocide.

Egypt has basically told Pakistan to get lost regarding this Bangladeshi war criminals issue (the party that these war criminals come from, Jamaat e Islami are supporters of the anti-Egyptian government Muslim Brotherhood) and is taking revenge for Pakistan interfering in Egypt's internal affairs and supporting Morsi.

The biggest problem for the Pakistani psyche is that they constantly exploit the "Islam" and "Muslim Brotherhood" card to promote their own self-interest, but the fact that a major Muslim country has not fallen for that will kind of shock them as Pakistanis subconsciously believe they are "more Muslim" than darker ("inferior") Bengalis and that all Muslims will inevitably support "Muslim" Pakistan.

Pakistanis have often portrayed their 1971 war of genocide as one of them being the representatives of Islam and Muslims when in fact they were actually going around massacring unarmed Muslim civilians whom they despised as racially inferior.

Egypt is the France of its region. The Egyptians are quite proud of themselves and view themselves as inheritors of a great and ancient glorious past i.e. the pharoanic past and in their way think they are better than Saudis, thus with their perception as a major power they will not be dictated to by the likes of Saudi despite the billions Saudis give them.

1. Support Assad in Syria against the Saudi-backed rebels.

2. Close to Russia who is in a semi-cold war with Saudi.

3. Refused to cut ties with Iran. Egypt is not Bahrain, Kuwait or some artificial gulf micro-state but an actual nation with thousands of years of history so they are not going to toe the Saudi line just like that.

The fact that the biggest country in the Arab world has supported Bangladesh over Pakistan is a major historical event considering the years of hostility Bangladesh has encountered from certain Arab states and especially Islamic groups allied to Jamaat e Islami.

@rock127 there is another example of Pakistani killings of Muslims ...

The black September episode where Pakistanis killed only 10,000 thousands Palestinians ...

Black September and Role of Pakistan http://muhammadmoeen.blogspot.in/2008/12/black-september-and-role-of-pakistan.html
Not to mention the 3 million Muslim refugees (Pashtuns) they've created inside their own country.

What good is a nuclear bomb if you make 3 million of your own citizens homeless?

Or their massacre of Balochis in Balochistan.

Ironic that this huge Muslim killer state more than any other country on earth talks about "Muslim brotherhood", whilst massacring its own non-Punjabi Muslim citizens.

Statistically there's an attak on Shia's every 5th day in Pak watan. Ahmadis have been hounded out since inception, many mainstream maulvi openly say they are wajib-ul-qatl (liable for murder) :-

http://ahmadiyyatimes.blogspot.com/2011/07/eye-on-extremism-ahmadiyya-muslims.html

But thanks to 5th column elements in our own country, Pakis have the gall to question us on tolerance :-

You know what the problem starts when one state [read Pakistan] thinks they are for the religion and not the other way round such as religion is for them...

Initially Hindus were the enemy for them ... now after the partition when they are gone, then came the Shias, Ahmadias, Baloch and others ... there will be no end to it... one goes and one new enemy comes in... In such scenario Nuclear bomb does not help mitigate the in security within them selves...

For that their reply is that, pak is the only Muslim state which gave refuge to millions of pashtuns and other Muslims like Rohingya as well, only in the name of Islam.

The renewed interest of north African country in Indian sub-continent's politics is interesting to say the least.
Waiting to see a reaction on what Pak is doing in its own backyard with Hindus, Ahmadiyas, Shias etc.

This is Egypt getting its own back on Pakistan for supporting Morsi. The point Egypt is trying to make is outsiders should not interfere in other people's affairs e.g. the way Pakistanis have been trying hard to defend war criminals.

1. The Pashtun/Afghan refugees mainly stayed in the peripheral north-west which is considered Pashtun land anway, though there are many in Karachi and other places.

2. During the bombing of Pashtun army by the Pakistani military in the past few years Pashtun refugees (IDPs) were not allowed to go in to Sindh or Punjab i.e. Pakistani Muslims were banned from other areas of Pakistan by other Pakistani Muslims.

3. The Pakistanis do not want the Biharis in Bangladesh. In Punjab they are unwelcome as outsiders, dark Indic people who should belong to Karachi along with the other dark Indic Mohajirs. In Karachi/Sindh they are not wanted by the Sindhis who feel there are too many Indian origin Mohajirs already.

4. Pakistanis chose ethnicity above religion in 1971, a Pakistani Muslim party won the elections and a Pakistani Muslim should have become leader, they refused and started massacring Pakistani civilians. That Pakistani Muslim was Mujibur Rehman, he and his party could not rule because they were Bengalis.

Pakistanis/Punjabis have consistently chosen ethnicity above religion.
