So, with these improvements, Arjun is no longer needed. Arjun with 4 crew has 1 extra crew which drains manpower needlessly and is simply extra bulky wit no benefits to match. Maybe it will fare better in a tank vs tank fight but in realistic scenarios, it is tank vs ATGM, mines, drones etc where T90Mk3 & Arjun fare similarly. So, Arjun likely junked
Highly unlikely.

why? if a system is inducted it means it fulfilled all the requirements given by the forces and arjun fared better in tech part over the T-90 in trials too btw requirements is what matter expectations don't if you expect something give it in requirements and don't change requirements 100 times during the prototype building

also the main problem ie the mobility and logistics improved quite a bit already with the 70tonne transporter trailer and 70tonne capable bridges

the arjun project was much more promising but in a big way our faults destroyed it the aarv is still isnt ordered the blt is inducted (not sure) the spg based on arjun was killed halfway due to ban on denel

almost all the electricals and optics even the era and composite of arjun was used to upgrade the T-90 which would have taken huge amount of money to send em to russia for upgrades the zorawar project held the timelines like glue cause the big experience that drdo got from the arjun project

the 120mm rifled gun is better than the t90 one we use it fires way better darts and has much more varity of ammo than the t90 also it can fire samho too so atgm is also covered but if you want to trash the rifled gun on being rifled what can i even say
Sorry to have to say this but that's Cap.

Mumbai, Maharashtra: At the release of commemorative coin, seminar and panel discussion on 'Emerging technologies and future of shipbuilding' at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane says, "India occupies a central role in the Indo-Pacific...India has been a maritime country for centuries...We forgot somewhere down the line. It was briefly revived during Chhatrapati Shivaji's time in Maharashtra...However, because our battles were fought on land...we didn't give so much importance to the Navy - building our capacity in shipbuilding practices. It caused immense harm to us for a period of time. From 19th century onwards, we have been again building up our capabilities...Again time has to come to give a free hand to our enterprise, where we encourage the private sector industry to acquire those instincts to contribute to the nation's growth. In this context, MDL has a major role..."

There is nothing Called Arjun's electrical and optics. The electrical and optics are different subsystems which can be installed in other tanks also. So, there is no point talking about electricals and subsystems of Arjun since the same can and has likely been fitted to T90s. There is no advantage to Arjun here.
Rifled guns can't fire a variety of ammos, especially ones with fins like APFSDS. That is why everyone is going for smoothbore.
arjun was to counter the abrams so making a 40tons tank with 4 crew is already a failure's thinking
here a comparison
This is not WW2 with tank vs tank battle. There are drones, planes, helicooters, ATGM, RPGs (recoilless rifles) etc. So, it is absurd to try to counter Abrams tank when such a fight is unlikely to happen.
You can bring many such things but reality is all systems have such issues.. T90 has shown alot of issues.. you're just reading some articles and posting it here. The reality is Arjun gun is more accurate than t90. T90 couldn't hit targets whille in motion whereas Arjun could hit it with unparalleled accuracy..
Except for rifling, the electrical, controls of Arjun can be implemented in T90s. So, the accuracy issue can be resolve, if any.
And still the same 30 year old sparse ERA layout. Calls it Mk3 but doesn't come with any upgrade in protection, not even APS. Couldn't we do something like the T-90MS.
APS is not really easy to implement on the ground. Tanks are meant to tank heavy fire. This means all the radar, guns etc for APS will be damaged quickly. They are just fancy overengineered things done by west. Not practical
Highly unlikely.
In defences, Arjun has better armour but in offense, Arjun can't fire APFSDS. So you may be right that even in tank vs tank, Arjun may not be better

NO, IT DOESN'T!! It's just a big effing myth. T-90 has thicker armor than Arjun as well as having much better and more uniform coverage, as in, more of its surface area being covered by the said armor.

Arjun can't fire APFSDS.
Whoever gave you that idea??!!
