Skysniper
It has been named Rampage now. The rocket it's based on , Extra has a 150 km range when used as a guided rocket launched from a mlrs.

But testing out the Rampage on a Su-30MKI will take some time. GVT, carriage trials, then separation ,etc. In an emergency procurement , the delivery starts within 6 months. So it may or may not be the IAI Rampage.

A Su-30MKI will be able to carry 6 since each weighs 570 kgs. With a terminal velocity of 1260 to 1950 kmph , it has a good chance of penetrating most Shorads and Mrsam systems. But it carries only a 120 kg warhead.

Earlier Kh-59 is already in service. The newer ones have a 400+ km range and has a 320 kg warhead with 2 way datalink. It's more of a Storm Shadow equivalent for the Su-30MKI. Unlike the Rampage,it has waypoint nav too along with an IIR seeker for man in the loop guidance . It can be launched as a fire and forget missile too . in that case, the APK-9 pod won't be required.

The great Indian army procurement ek
Paav DRDO L&T tank teen paav some other Jai Ho logistics ki
The proposal is that 59 of the 354 light tanks, each weighing less than 25 tonnes with a high power-to-weight ratio as well as superior firepower and protection, will be reserved for the tanks developed by DRDO

The remaining 295 tanks will be manufactured under the government-funded design and development project for the Indian industry in the `Make-1’ category of the Defense Acquisition Procedure (DAP). “DRDO can also compete with private players for this,” a source said

Are these morons talking about two different designs!?

IAF is quietly beefing up its standoff precision strike capabilities across the fleet.

These are the latest variant of Kh-59, the MK2 variant with an IIR seeker. Between , these can utilise the precise navigation services provided by our IRNSS constellation besides the usual Glonass.

Orders from NGARM aka Rudram-1 will be placed very soon.
NO these are IAI Rampage missiles.

Don't know really what got tested. There exists a firewall when it comes to sharing of tech between DRDO and ISRO. For the fear of international sanctions.

Can someone post the NOTAM issued for this test .

Hava covers 500 km in 250 secs. Look at the pic closely. That's 2000metres travelled per sec which is around M6.0.

This scramjet which was tested will be used in Project Vishnu , the one for hypersonic cruise missile that is now being developed for the three services.

AFAIK there was no NOTAM. Can anyone confirm what exactly was tested? If it was indeed the HAVA i am sure ISRO would have made more noise. Fingers crossed
