Our members are arguing about VL SRSAM range . I think 20-25 Km is logical . ASTRA MK 1 has a range of 20 Km in see level . TVC may reduce range . From the pic I believe VL SRSAM is slightly longer and thinner than ASTRA , may be vlsrsam can carry a little more Propellent than Astra overall 20 Km is average range for me . Certainly exceptional manuverablity is guaranteed through TVC and big Fins .

S400 Radar is a gamechanger, and S400 is a seperate breed of AD, we just don’t require SAMs from outside now, we already have SPYDER and S400 for short and long range as imports but now we are aatmanirbhar in true sense, just I am waiting for domestic small arms procurement from PLR.

That’s what I said, 50 vehicles max to max one can procure at this cost, and so many people call me a butthurt guy ranting over the same thing again and again, but think it yourselves, how much Army focuse on Indigenous procurement? This is peanuts.

200 is impossible, a Brimstone AntixTank Guided Missile costs more than a Kalyani M4 if 200 costs ₹178 crore.
