You are talking about fuel economy and railway carriages..First of all look at the ugly shit type of design of the carrier...No space managment no ergonomics...What do you think what speed it can move ..what would be the turning radius...Are boss give it tata or Mahindra they will design a far better vehicle....yaha design ke naam pe chutiyapa chal raha hai..

Don't think in reality actual missile carried like that.
Same type of "tow" truck is currently in use to show our heavy missiles in parade.
Ever watched an actual ICBM carrier in public ?

The 18 m tall missile could easily fit in 22m long railway coaches or in 14-18 wheelers.

SFC has something like 48 Agni-V in its service. A pvt sector company in an interview stated that they have received orders for 48 tractor trailers for the Agni V missile.
Maybe many of them would be decoys + some would kept in backup.

But there must be some one Dozen rail Mobile missile
..uh.. fuck

Really? Where are they?

It is almost impossible to hide a strategic force of 48 huge missiles. As long as they enter the service, people will see them because you need to get them trained, drilled frequently.

Unless you bury them (missiles+trucks) under the ground to rust.
Lmao 48 missiles are nothing. Hiding them is easy they are road mobile afterall.

Our missiles aren't mounted on MAZ, they are out of sight, inside railway carriage and coaches, container trucks etc

Not sure what is the use of TELs for Agni V, maybe for transport. Some Agni Vs are permanently aimed at China and stay buried in silos somewhere in central India, not moved or launched from TELs.

Well who manages, maintains, or works around them know. Defence personnel do not leak or divulge information, civilians who see them are either clueless or don't care that much. And they are not moved around like Agni-1/2 or Prithvi series.

And yeah, they are pretty much buried.
