The Indian Navy’s VC 11184 ballistic missile tracking vessel has been commissioned.

it will have the ability to detect launches by adversaries like Pakistan and China, giving India an early warning capability. The 15,000 tonne ship, which has specialised surveillance systems of three dome-shaped antennas packed with sensors, has been extensively tested since 2018 by the joint team.

We can never know...
We have 4 nuclear submarine in ocean and knows about launching ceremony of only 2, 3 even commissioned outside media eyes.
If rumours of its commissioning came out then it's either commissioned or almost ready for it... nothing to worry about.

Two of the longest-serving Artillery weapon systems, the 130mm Self Propelled M-46 Catapult Guns and the 160mm Tampella Mortars were decommissioned today at #MFFR. The ceremony was marked by customary firing of the last salvos.

These are in inventory of the IndianArmy for close to 60 years and the decommissioning would make way for newer equipment with latest technologies.

What's the problem?? Just remove the barrels and breaches from the decommissioned Catapults and use them as spares in the towed versions in case they have got any lives left in them. What's it got to do with K9s??

Hey just asking, can't hindustan shipyards make desi support vessel like Mistral based on this design ? I think removing the large radardome and remodeling the area behind bridge could make a great san antonio like alternative.

T/R modules depends on the nose cone of the aircraft on which the radar is installed.
