Note Dhruvastra with JVC was test-fired on 23rd July 2020 , while new Helina with JVC was test-fired on February 2019.

Four Su-30MKI are currently being modified for Astra mk2 captive carriage test and firing trials.

Astra mk2 program is advancing at warp speeds since the dual pulse propulsion system is proven. It has already been tried and tested in LRSAM. The seeker , guidance algos, warheads, and two way datalinks already exist in Astra mk1.

So we have taken proven mature systems from two different systems and mated them together to design and develope a new missile. The dual pulse solid motor isn't the exact same unit as on Lrsam though. It's based on it.

This is old video. I have heard same sound on one American SLBM, video has been deleted from YouTube for some reason. It was Poseidon i think

This is probhably not an old video because the video before disent have sequnce from 16 secs...i may be wrong...honestly seeing such video makea your morning good.

It is old... i have seen this whole video many years ago with that sound and guess what i heard same sound made by an American SLBM. I am not sure which one was it though. the video has been deleted from YouTube. I will post it if i find it.

Indian Navy will soon place an order for 38 Brahmos ER for the under construction Visakhapatnam class. The deal is valued at Rs 1800 crore.

I guess the Brahmos missiles will be ordered in batches. We are going to need 80 Brahmos missiles alone for the 5 P15B DDG . Reloads are extra.
