Astra nose cone after test fire
Aren't these a bit too rounded to be Astra (which is more conical)?
The RCWS looks very neat & nimble . Is it a real obe or mock-up?
Most probably wore off due to aerodynamic heating and stress , I did mention " astra nose cone after test fire "Aren't these a bit too rounded to be Astra (which is more conical)?
No no. Not the tip, I meant the shape. Those look like Akash. Most probably wore off due to aerodynamic heating and stress , did I not mention " astra nose cone after test fire "

Look closer of the Chinese words on that rocket - "Xiamen University". It is a co-work between the university and a private company. So, yes, it is a toy created by university students.
In 2018, Chinese published their test of hypersonic aircraft - Star sky -2.
"In the latest tests, the aircraft was able to maintain speeds greater than five-and-a-half times the speed of sound for 400 seconds at an altitude of 30km (19 miles). "
China has tested a hypersonic aircraft called Starry Sky-2
China has long been suspected of developing hypersonic weapons but this test flight at an undisclosed location in northwest of the country is the first official confirmation.www.dailymail.co.uk
It is not just in our guns, but you could see it in most of the rapid firing guns. This arrangement is done to keep the barrel cool & clean of spend gas. The rapid expansion of exhaust gas creates a vaccum on the mouth of the barrel which sucks in cool air and helps in cooling down the barrel.can an expert here tell me why the guns have bhonpu / bieguel kind of nose in our guns? What's the advantage?
There is a operator fire control station next to it inorder to operate the RCWS , so it is real , there was a video where a guy was demonstrating the same .Aren't these a bit too rounded to be Astra (which is more conical)?

RCWS on auto leveling platform from electropneumatics
I believe the RCWS is a placeholder for the exhibition , actual system is something else eg a much bigger AAA gun system
Please see the poster behind the platform. This company is making that 70T storage cannister, whose CAD I had posted last year.I found your old post too...
