Coming to QRSAM why can't we upgrade 9K33 Osa with qrsam missile and new radar with better guidance system.

Why ?

What's the need , osa is going to be retired in a few years and it is a completely different system and very old system. Zero advantage

Not Osa system just it's structure where you can place six qrsam missiles and new radar with guidance

Yeah , every structure has a fatigue life , it is well past its prime . No point trying to reuse them . Also all were imported and spares unavailable

Plus NAVY needs a universal vertical launcher like MK-41 VLS.
A VLS that can fit brahmos,Lrsam plus quad pack QRSAM just like RIM-162 Essm missile.

For that we need to develop tracked vehicle which can be used for different applications , not the other way around .

Otherwise too costly and limited in scope / utility

It is one of the programs under development which also includes exoskeleton , air water hybrid missile ( no idea what it means ) among other programs.

This jet pack is mil grade with certain specific military requirements like additional load capacity for weapons ammo etc , ability to counter high cross winds etc .

Usual jetpacks won't work in high mountainous regions due to thin air

Any news about Ground based Radar systems. DRDO was working on huge Radar with more than 100M length anything about that?
