I hope its true and government actually tests this missile. It'll be great symbolism to achieve ability to hit yanks.Agni-6 is in its last stage of development. Crucial work on 4th stage is going on.

Had been already posted in the aero India threadSource please....................................................................
The Europeans will start having nightmares after the Agni 6 missile test.I hope its true and government actually tests this missile. It'll be great symbolism to achieve ability to hit yanks.
WTF! And no version of it for Arjun!!!.. Why would the suicidal fools even waste time & money developing rounds of foreign T-90.New developement on FSASPDS ammo front, likely to benefit both T-72/90 as well as Arjun MBTs.
RHA of arjun shell is 600mm at 2km
Clearly photoshopped image. Looks like, [6]00mm.not bad by current standards............but will need to improve.
May be some editing was done on paper before the showcase just in case someone printed wrong or as u said it can be photo shopped also, who knows.I was talking about 125 mm rounds earlier by the way.WTF! Any update about new 120mm shell. instead of this they are developing 125mm shells without proper fire control systemsthe original one is '300mm' before that 'PS' job....
we observed this 'correction' on that blog long long time ago...
post--delete--repost........very interesting

They're deploying Mark 1A at J&K base, which will come with all three. (It'll be from 1st batch, so will carry Israeli AESA instead of Uttam. )...why would anyone deploy a jet with no ew suite, aesa radar, bvr on frontline base...
Enemy's best jet happens to be old F-16 & Jf-17 BlkXX. Both with much higher RCS & comparable maneuverability, inferior avionics. We have many other jets such as su30, mig29 and Rafael why cant we deploy them. I know tejas is a good interceptor but it will be first to scramble during emergency (like mig21 on 27feb) to face enemy's best jet.
I know that missile is ready. For a country able to through a 4 tonne spacecraft 45,000 kms up (not including lakhs of kilometers travelled by onboard boosters), reaching at any corner of world isn't actually challenge. The Europeans will start having nightmares after the Agni 6 missile test.
But, I think the missile might have already been developed in 2017 as nearly each Agni missile had a development time of 5 years. Agni 5 was ready in 2012.
MIRV ability doesn't need to get operationalized unless you have tonnes of nukes to below. US & Russia had it while China is inducting it now.^Agreed. Besides, anyone who has seen the PS4 stage would know India has latent MIRV capability. The delivery vehicle technology was never a problem. It is the reentry vehicle miniaturization. This is where the information available in public gets a little fuzzy. We don't have any Mark12A analogous and most importantly a compatible warhead. Without these two, we will end up with a bulbous payload fairing.
