Bhadra, unlikely you know exact Army requirements. You are engaging in conjecture.
Correct. I am not working with DG Artillery, nor anywhere near acquisition / procurement organisation of IA / MoD. I am too far away from any agency too.
Idhar iss forum men jhak mar raha hoon.
Only RFI of AHQ is in public domain and PRFP is expected.

Firing a nuke shell is an interesting capability. And it may be required. You cannot move missile carriers as these raise suspicion. Artillery is an ordinary item and is available in thousands.
Yes it is interesting because it involves miniaturisation of implosion, fission - fusion and enhanced radiation technologies. The dude above claims that he has miniaturised neutron shell.

US has M110 howitzer and M115 howitzer delivering 203mm W79 nuclear shell. They also developed 155mm W82 nuclear artillery shell probably to be delivered by M109 self-propelled, M114 towed howitzers and M198 towed howitzers.

Russian also have 152, 180, 203 and 240mm artillery shells and guns / howitzers.

However, due to large problems associated with nuclear artillery, nuclear shell have been withdrawn by both sides and TNW are based on short range mobile missiles.

Coming on to requirement :

TNW or nuclear shell means that you have a first strike declared nuclear doctrine and India has renounced retaliatory massive strike doctrine.

For a massive retaliation strikes, bigger Warheads are required / used rather than TNW.
In nuclear Warfare a capability means a doctrine as the other side will go by your capabilities rather than statements.

Management of artillery nuclear shells is difficult and problematic.

Weight issue and accuracy are important no doubt and DRDO may be working on it. Aluminum forgings can reduce weight of carriage. The gun itself may stay heavy I think unless they can change the metallurgy.
Weight definitely is an issue and as per news reported I have quoted in earlier post, Army has asked the manufacturer to look into it. How they do it is a matter of technology

So the issue of Nuclear shells, heavy chamber for that, neutron shell etc are bunkum and being inserted to justify a deficiency and confusion.

DRDO MMSR - Multi Mode Surveillance Radar

High mobility with all systems packed onto one vehicle itself.

Range 0-80Km, 100 Target track, high scan rate (30 rpm), high elevation angles (-15 to 75 degree)

And AFAIK Multi Mission here means WLR ( weapons locating radar ) and air defence radar capabilities in one radar package. First of its kind in the world if true.

It should replace DRDO Swathi WLR and older air defence radars in the future.

I believe MMSR ( Multi Mode Surveillance Radar ) is a derivative of ISRO M-MOTR ( MOBILE MULTI OBJECT TRACKING RADAR )

mmotr1.JPG

mmotr2 (1).JPG

M-MOTR is a scaled down version of MOTR ( MULTI OBJECT TRACKING RADAR ) being built by SDSC SHAR.

Mobile MOTR is to be used for Acquisition of short range targets.

All the sub systems in Mobile MOTR facility including Active phased array, DPS, DRS, Electrical and AC Chiller units has been integrated.

Frequency of operation is fixed at 1.31GHz based on the Receive echo isolation between Main MOTR and Mobile MOTR.

it makes sense DRDO recycling the civilian variant into a military variant ie MMSR ( Multi Mode Surveillance Radar )
