Bdw any had any news before....me listening first time....
It's a dummy missile on the rig. What is the system getting tested on that rig ??
Which frequencies ? X-band ?Conical rubber based RAM ( radar absorbing material ) sheets . It works in a specific range of frequencies.
Is this project alive....or dead...........
Dead. We are going for C295. It is turboprop engine in C295.Is this project alive....or dead...........
What is it worth without a Missiles on merely with Konkurs ? Night enableness I am sure is not merely for a taxi job. It's a dummy missile on the rig.
For which specific missile I don't know
The idea of RAM coating or RADAR deflection is to apply them strategically. Its basically the overall shape which defeat RADAR. These coating or structures are placed at portions which would reflect maximum RADAR waves. Moreover these are modular and maintenance is not an issue.Which frequencies ? X-band ?
What benefits would a half face covered with RAM bring ? Why not cover the whole thing with RAM.
From the looks of it that thing would attract all kinds of debris/dust. Maintenance will be a pain in the ass.
They will be removed instead of being cleaned ?Moreover these are modular and maintenance is not an issue.
RTA is the Regional Transport Aircraft for civilian purposes!Dead. We are going for C295. It is turboprop engine in C295.
Civilian plane has little difference with military transport plane. So, India may opt or C295 as both civilian and military plane or get C295 and RTA together to hedge the risk.RTA is the Regional Transport Aircraft for civilian purposes!
C295 has no relevance here.
They would be removed to be cleaned. Now Vishakhapatnam class would too get these for sure if needed. They will be removed instead of being cleaned ?
Wonder if the Vishakapatnam class will have these. I mean initially the Kolkata didn't.
