Already exported to other countries? Impressive, considering India has not been able to, as yet, export the Lakshya PTA( from HAL) though it is considered good quality. There could be low profile companies exporting fairly sophisticated stuff in the defense sector. There is this company, with the name "Lohia" that has been exporting drone components to Israel and possibly other countries. Here it is: https://theprint.in/defence/indian-...-prized-global-kamikaze-drones-market/806722/It's being said that a version is being made of that
They haven't exported kamikaze version that is in works rn but yet we are exporting shit ton of stuff by next year India will have solution for long range Loitering munitions as well Abhyas is being turned into long ranged Loitering munition tooAlready exported to other countries? It's the engine, the damn engine.
BRAHMOS indigenours content now at =83%
Interesting thought - Would STAR, if modified,be a good candidate for long range anti air missile? It's the engine, the damn engine.
And tbf, Russians are proper leaders in ramjet tech.
I wonder if this is the liquid fueled ramjet being used in STAR...

it would be a viable choice but the astra 3 would be greater range than 340km range too so star would better be good cause sfdr is expensive tooInteresting thought - Would STAR, if modified,be a good candidate for long range anti air missile?
astra mk3 is based on sfdr which is already tested (from a ground launcher) but its induction may take time but not 10 years imoeven astra mk 2 isn't tested yet, astra mk 3 is very least 10 years away from induction it seems
Anti drone system.
wouldn't a belt fed system/drum based based on mg gun be more apt? I guess when DRDO's gatling gun is realised and inducted, using that would be more apt - provided AI based single rifle based system have not been perfected by then.Anti drone system.
Last time I checked, it would come with AI firing solution.
These systems are being made by the forces themselves in house. These are more of a jugaad system which they have came up.wouldn't a belt fed system/drum based based on mg gun be more apt? Greastest invention of the 3rd economic power in the world and by such invention we will soon become No 1....
thats why i confused why mg/gpmg was not used. It would have given longer range, unless the system they are developing whether AI or not has engagement distance limited to as far as human eye can seeThese systems are being made by the forces themselves in house. These are more of a jugaad system which they have came up.
Even the automation part has been developed in house by them without any input from outside agency. So its basically putting up with what is already available instead of looking for something from outside.
in action , in ukraine . trying to bring down the iranian shahed drone .
Its genius and embarrassing at the same time. We know the forces are resourceful but for them to have to go to this lengths is embarrassing. These systems are being made by the forces themselves in house. These are more of a jugaad system which they have came up.

one the bright side, it's a upgraded version. from 3 insas to 5.INSAS CIWS ?

people are saying its effective too so thats good imo getting a rotatory multi barrel gun is better but definatly very costlier in comparison to insas which would be recycled when ak 203 is available in numbers
