This has already began.NIA and CBI need to run regular sting operations with their own angel priya accounts to catch these unkils in the act.

so warhead and range is by far a component of caliber you can only increase the range and warhead only to a certain extent with the same caliberStill a rocket is always cheaper than a missile especially cruise missile. Pakistan have build 400km rockets for that purpose only.
Any cruise supposedly of 400km will costs shitloads of money compared to rockets..
It is said Prahar was abandoned coz of similar range compared to newer pinnaka. But still it would have been a very strong punch like it carry 250kg warhead for 150km range. That's damn impressive pinnaka carries around 100kg wh.
There were variants of 170km & 200km pragati & pranash.. they could be in service possibly.
and even the maheshwaraastra 1 have same ranges so we can even say they were scrapped for mahestra 1. Mahtra 2 makes sense as it is having 290km of range.
I don't know what parameter this is,lets compare it to the fateh 2
caliber= 400mm (minimum imo) and length =7m (5m of the missile) volume= 14m^3 thats nearly twice of smerch carrying nearly same warhead too but at a lower trajectory so we can clearly say its a missile in name of rocket now put brahmos in an inlined launcher and call it a rocket vollah we have a pinaka mk10 with 800km range hehe .
All artillery rockets follow ballistic pathway. To hit a target at close ranges they're fired in a way they won't gain much of altitude but it will be ballistic... Ballistic missiles have complex electronic, avionics like gps , ins...either ways what i wanna tell is at very big ranges there is little difference between rocket and ballistic missile
I will rather say put ins + gps on prahar here you have a very lethal missile with shitloads of explosives... Pinnaka's are fired in large numbers to flatnned the area. whereas prahas can be used to destroy storage facilities. Because each pinnaka will carry less warhead compared 250kg and can not be used against hardened shelters effectively which are used to store enemy supplies..
working on improving the accuracy of pinaka 200-300km varient would eventually make the need of prahaar negligible (imo)
What did we export?
I am having a feeling that the export to Armenia is indirectly funded by Russia due to its inability to directly supply Armenia fearing Turkey's retaliation. Turkey opening Bosphorous is important for Russian trade and hence it is unwilling to openly supply Armenia or even offer any verbal support openly. But it knows that over long time, Turkey is an enemy and Armenia is a friend. So, it is finding 3rd parties like India to supply arms. Azerbaijan is being supplied by USA/UK, Israel, Turkey and they have an agenda of carving out Armenia for a gas and oil pipeline to EUMany things we can .....Russian jets spare parts ,t90 ,t72 tank spare parts , artillery shella , ammunition s , rockets
Who knows we might be exported isarels also....as usa is denying weapons to isarel for now for rafah operation
Do you know the difference between cruise missile and solid fuel missile? For <400km, cruise missile will be expensive because of the complex engine, fuel supply, guidance & storage issues in cruise missiles. So, a <400km ballistic missile will be cheaper than cruise missile. As for rockets, it makes no sense to have 150+km rockets as they cost almost the same as ballistic missiles but have poor accuracy which means the longer the rockets go, the more deviation it will have from target. So, a rocket of 150km range will likely hit about 0.75 to 1.5km away from target which is pretty useless.Still a rocket is always cheaper than a missile especially cruise missile. This is such 2rs cheap treachery, now i can understand you selling the nation if you indeed get to sink your tool into some prime Pindi Pucci in Dubai or whatever. That DRDO scientist who was also a RSS pracharak and the low wage contractor from Mazgaon Docks were both Maharashtrian. Many men have similarly been arrested from Gujarat and Rajasthan as well. I won't even mention Punjab and that inspectors role in Pathankot attacks. It's not a "Hindi Belt" exclusive problem. This is a pan-india "MEN" problem. These scientists think their career and job is what they will ever amount to be. Hence when a Paki guised as a woman gives them attention for what they do, they spill over all their secrets
I know difference between cruise missiles and ballistic missiles.. I know rockets are very inaccurate at long ranges. I did not meant that a long range rockets should be unguided it should have ins +gps. I even said equip pranash with ins + gps.Do you know the difference between cruise missile and solid fuel missile? As for Pragati, it is just export (inferior) variant of prahaar, not a new missile. Pranash is a 200km variant meant for export to friendly countries.
I don't know what parameter this is,
But long range rockets are way cheaper than a guided B. missile or cruise M.
true but the problem is that at lengths like 300-400km the curvature and many other factors also get included which forces us to have many type of navs gps and all to get 30-40m cep while a missile can get to 5m easily so it make the user fire maybe 2 rockets when a single missile could have done the jobThere is difference when it comes to costs this rockets are damn cheap and can be made more lethal, accurate with ins & gps. Still they will cost less because they are put on a mass produced platform which is already cheap. .
A missile like pralay doesn't depend on launch angle to hit target but rather it hosts its own avionics and electronics to guide itself at targets at long ranges with pin point accuracy..
This is never the case with conventional rockets..
guided rockets arnt used like that though to flatten an area they have 10-20m cep so 1 rockets usually can destroy a target with 100% accuracyI will rather say put ins + gps on prahar here you have a very lethal missile with shitloads of explosives... Article says nothing about arms shipments tho, just machinery.Russian firms buy $4 billion worth of India-made arms, pay in Indian rupee

Exporters in Russia, who started trading with India using Indian rupees, have recently spent nearly $4 billion to buy India-made defence equipment and armaments, among other imports and Indian securities. This amount come from funds which were lying idle in their Vostro accounts.
Till October, Russian exporters held about $8 billion in Vostro accounts. These accounts were set up to facilitate trade between Russia and India, using Indian rupees and are managed by a domestic bank on behalf of a foreign bank.
As per a report by the Mint, due to a lack of investment opportunities in India, the money held in the Vostro accounts of Russian exporters remained unspent.
In a mere six months, they used only about 50 per cent of these funds, the report quoted two people aware of the matter, who declined to be identified.
One of them said, “It is difficult to say the exact amount in the Vostro accounts since some transactions are very complex. However, during the last 6-8 months or so, a large part of the amount has been used.”
Back in July 2023, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) permitted 20 banks operating in the country to open 92 SRVAs of partner banks from 22 countries as part of efforts to promote bilateral trade in local currencies. Russia was one of them.
A Vostro account allows a foreign lender for transactions, including forex settlements, cross-border payments, and investments in a different market.
Russia also uses the rupee from these Vostro accounts to import goods from India.
India exports machinery, auto parts and other engineering goods to Russia.
The Russian Vostro account started witnessing a large amount of rupee deposited in as India purchased increased amounts of cheap Russian crude oil following the sanctions imposed on Moscow by the West.
For the unversed, Russia is among the largest suppliers of crude oil to India.
Russian funds (in rupees) have also been invested in Indian government treasury bills. As per regulations such funds are not allowed to be invested in corporate debt.
The report quoted a second person saying that both New Delhi and Moscow have been working on sorting the issue of the piling up of rupee payments in the Vostro account.
“Indian exports are also being settled from the Russian funds from the Vostro account," the person added.
As per recent data from India’s commerce ministry, exports to Russia in 2023 stood at $4.06 billion, while imports totaled $60.60 billion.
