Never heard about SMART missile being deployed either. IA declining Prahar tactical missile 12 years back is anotger disaster.

Why did they gave up on pranash it was a great rocket with 250km range. Pakis are inducting Rocket artillery ranging upto 400km. And also what happened to prahar it was of 150km..

pinnaka (40,60,75,90km ), pralay, (Prahar family 150km, pragati 170km, pranash 250km) would have made indian army's rocket artillery to the level of Americans. With way lesser price tag. Pakistanis are ahead in terms of Rocket artillery now even they operate rocket artillery of 120,140,400kms now.

True, i could not understand what logic IA used to reject Prahar at thst time! While PLA was having many battle field missiles in its armor.

Also PAF had AIM-120 C5 from 2010 and IAF did nothing to get newer version of R series from Russia, result is Abhinandan getting captured. They wait for 10 uears till Rafale came with Meteor.

Now in next skirmish, PAF will use drones from Turkey which IAF has nothing comparable. PAF will get J-31 much before IAF get any 5th gen fighter.

They are not ready to put that same gun on bhim howitzer chassy and buy instead of k9.
You can see how army co-operate on indigenousation..
Bhim has S.A dennel's gun but project closed due to corruption..
It had better firing rate except electronics it was way ahead..

It is not right to blame army anymore. They have their share of faults but AON for 307 guns atleast has been granted long back, trials cleared long back yet no orders. It has been long upto MoD now. I really don't understand this new trend of blaming army now. Real power lies with the govt and the MoD. There is nothing that can't move if the govt wants
