to my limited knowledge, there is no jet pack in the world Which can carry the soldier along with his weapon and kit. The weight of a soldier along with weapon and kit is almost 110KG. Adding the jet pack, fuel, the weight will increase to 150 KG. It’s impossible to land on your feet with so much weight, DRDO is again talking nonsense.

Dunno why there is so much jeering about jet packs .. They can be used in places where parachutes cant like the mountains. Jetpacs can also be useful in places where perhaps helicopter insertion maybe too vulnerable.
