Wrong way to reason it out. Many projects result in failures. You cannot succeed without failing. What is important is to fail fast and correct yourself to go on a different path. The issue with DRDO is they don’t fail fast - they keep working on the same path thinking that they can rescue the program even if it takes years and years more. Bad idea. This ability to quickly change directions is well established in the private sector as they cannot afford to waste money, which why the results are not only quicker but many times cheaper. DRDO must work just like a private org - give them limited budgets and tell them to fail fast and move on to something else or try differently. But this would be resisted by the DRDO staff as they are very used to milking 1 project for their whole career. This is why drdo projects take decades as you can go from joining DRDO to retirement with pension on just 1 project. Until this core idea is changed, DRDO will continue to be ineffective in delivering advanced technology quickly and cheaply.Yes that's what u do when project gets no funding and attention from govt
Failure lies with every stakeholder in this case but not inducting a platform where u have invested both time and capital isn't the solution to overcome the failure
Mass induction is solution for many such capability related issuesWrong way to reason it out. Many projects result in failures. You cannot succeed without failing. Tapas is goneI have another question what will happen to 6 tapas which is in production as it's part of user trails
Will it remain with hal or services
Will they conduct any more trails
Ghatak is under pmo no one dares to fuck it up or heads will start falling there is a reason why that project is always on timeline lmao Archer ng idk what to think rn will see when it happensTapas is gone
Got killed because of inter department rivalry and import lobby
At this point just hope it doesn't happen to ghatak and archer ng
Well good people are being shifted from the programs, similar happened to tapas in 2018Ghatak is under pmo no one dares to fuck it up or heads will start falling there is a reason why that project is always on timeline lmao Archer ng idk what to think rn will see when it happens
A project of national importance was shifted from ADA to a lab that always failed to deliver any product from Nishant to Nirbhay, Rustom-1 to Rustom-2!!! Shameless act.
I would have been happy tooI would have been so happy to apologise.

Looks like MODI Government has had enough of ADE.. Interview of ADA Ghatak Director before it was transferred to ADE to save ADE face/jobs..Wrong way to reason it out. He indeed is, and most of the fanboys screaming murder on Army & Chandigarh lobby has absolutely no idea how deep the rot runs into DPSUs.With time it seems @Hellfire ji is more credible wrt defence than other numerous sources
I don't agree with his assertions most of the timesHe indeed is, and most of the fanboys screaming murder on Army & Chandigarh lobby has absolutely no idea how deep the rot runs into DPSUs.
