L&T was actually involved in some project involving AUV while MDL was involved in another one concerning UUVs IIRC. Not filled in with the details so can't elaborate.

L&T was actually involved in some project involving AUV while MDL was involved in another one concerning UUVs IIRC. Not filled in with the details so can't elaborate.

L&T's AUV is jv with a italian firm WSL. indian pvt companies believe in assembly of foriegn techd, no R&D. not their fault fully though. Govt need to fund big ticket projects first.

Been on Twitter for 1 month now they stopped every drone project funding unless they reduce drag of already existing rustom/tapas drone with help of private companies and make it meet the army's requirments That's 30k feet with 24 hrs of endurance and they are also developing new missiles for Archer and it's in fabrication.
