This is for the Amca project.

The HD stands for high definition. Besides functioning as maws, it will also improve the situational awareness of the pilot. He can see through the floor of the cockpit. See everything that's going on around him .

What's scope of putting Prachand or Rudra-like attack helis on various OPV or Corvette style vessels here ? I mean for attacking nearby shore-based threats and all
HUGE
IN new MH-60R "Romeo" comes with hellfire missile, its like naval Rudra with helina
Ah1z naval attack helicopter is like naval prachand

I see, then I wonder if IN would ever look at Prachand or Rudra forks (naval variants with folding blades and rear tail section maybe?) for these kind of roles in future...
MH-60R is nice but it's a big utility, general purpose 'jack-ov-all' type heli - but having a Prachand-N with dhrvastra, rockets and that 20mm gun would be far better combo for an attack heli for offshore targets me thinks

I'm interested in this because russia and china made efforts in this direction, even though it didn't see some adoption in their navies...
ruusis made a dedicated naval variant of their Ka-52 called Ka-52K

due to lack of interest by ruusi navy they didn't show some adoption, then there were rumours that chinese were interested in these and put a quote for 36 some of them for delivery
not sure if the deal was made and so; but it shows that others are considering over putting an attack heli on their naval vessels,
what about us in all this ?

This will only be useful if we develop an actual concept of amphibious warfare (currently lacking, we have a few ships but not very practical).
Might happen once we get LHDs

I understand, but in absence of that maybe we could put it on small tonnage boats like Corvettes and so, in association with landing crafts these could give a work-able amphibious warfare group for starters?
