R&D is not in Tata's DNA. They had TCS but never tried builing own cloud tech instead waited for others to create one so that TCS can open more BPO.

In 2023, Tqta Motors still strugglung with developing a TGDi engine and Mahindra being much smaller company is way ahead of them.

Most of Tata is mainly assembling with ToT whether it is from Microsoft or Airbus or Hyundai or Apple. Shame.

Exactly. Same with all projects from ADE.

Give similar project to consortium of private startups like NewSpace etc. Fund them, provide access to labs. Set up project management office like corporates. See the result like magic.

For starters , what's the difference between LRR or Long range radar and LRTR of BMD ?

Then there's VLRR in the pic . Its part of BMD and has a fixed antenna.

Two VLRTR sites are already up and running as part of BMD and for keeping tabs on Pak and Chinese missile tests. Then whats the need for this VLRR design from DRDO?

Also theres the LRBMR of Project Kusha or LRSAM.
LRBMR stands for Long range Battery Multifunction radar. It will be having 700+ km range for a 3 sqm target and will utilise GaN amplifier based TRM.

radars at the top, are current ongoing projects and bottom are older inducted ones. VHF radars can be OTH and anti stealth. Lots of details. Next gen. Hope they have access to sufficient number of fabs for GaN.

Nice details though. Have issues with politicians visiting such places specially from parties like DMK. Anyway LRDE might be using Hikvision cameras, Huawei, Mi phones, Lenovo laptops. and may be even chinese routers and switches. So they do not need dravidian stocks. lol

Changing drones is not the solution. This data link BS seems like another of those excuses that IAF/ Army are very good at cooking up to reject Indian maal.
