Japanese 1940s yamato beehive round vibes.
You are looking at the wrong round. The said round is HEPF round in the first picture.Plain HEI ammo

Dude, are you same fro peedf? I was there for long time till Balakot.Nope, it’ll be A319s or A320s
A319, product name is SCAInteresting!! The article seems to be implying that the make of the jet would be the same as the 6 new AEW&C under consideration. Are we going in for an EMBRAER ERJ-145 for our ISTAR requirements too?
Gave up giving traffic to inbreds a while agoDude, are you same fro peedf? I was there for long time till Balakot.
Is this for ISTAR ? Weren't they hunting for a Gulfstream Jet earlier patterned upon Raytheon's design ?
DRDO’s special missions planes are very interesting and genuinely game changers in terms of moving up the value chain for India- being able to convert green aircraft into these specialised platforms is a pretty niche and impressive capability
ISTAR is a separate projectIs this for ISTAR ? Weren't they hunting for a Gulfstream Jet earlier patterned upon Raytheon's design ?
What exactly are you referring to then ? I'm referring specifically to the new requirement of 6 x Netra Mk-1a to be mounted on used EMBRAER ERJ-145 & the ISTAR project utilizing the same platform

Gulfstream & the Airbus we have are two entirely different class of aircraft. But you know better.Read Livefist’s amended tweet on the topic
6xNETRA MK1(A?) (repeat order of 6) will be on ERJ-145s
6x NETRA MK.2 will be on A321s (currently parked up at Hinon but can see a few of them have been flying recently)
3X SCA on A319 platform
3x ISTAR on gulfstreams (this seems like the most long winded as India has lots of airbus platforms laying around)
There will be no ISTAR on the ERJs
Yeah the Gulfstream and Airbus are for 2 different ISR projects- SCA and ISTAR, I believe SCA has emerged because ISTAR is a JV between India and US but these projects are convoluted and may never lead to any tangible system so SCA is a desi system that can overlap with some of the ISTAR mission profiles and the A319 is an ideal platform for it considering the NETRA and FTB are going to be based on A320 family aircraftGulfstream & the Airbus we have are two entirely different class of aircraft. But you know better.
