No one. There is no contender for Towed guns now. Its just a policy by GoI, based on which these paid articles are cropping one after another.

AoN has been moved on last October. The RFI has came out after that. So this 700 numbers would be divided in two trances.

personally i dont think so , bec the NS one is also being used as a kamikaze drone

the one i posted seems to me as not being intended as a expendable drone

Can you tell us what was true about the hydraulic drive ?

When IA had seen a complete electric drive system, they had asked regarding hydraulic drive as they are well versed with it. They were right in asking for that as a complete new system would mean an additional hike in OPEX.
But DRDO had opted for a all electric drive. So it is basically how you put forward the PROs of your system and counter the CONs. This is going to take some time, but as we have seen, if you are able to push your point successfully, user would accept it.

But as usual, the time it cost during the negotiation has been twisted by our media. As per them and some of our esteemed members in this forum, IA has shifted the goal post and Chandigarh lobby is playing games.
