I just want to see following improvements
1. Slightly higher tonnage maybe 50k tons
2. An Indian Radar (the rumoured 6m radar)
3. Indian CIWS (please for the love of God, get rid of the ak 630) (preferably similar to type 730 or even 1130 if we want things to crazy)
4. Indian Equivalent to RIM 116.
1) At standard displacement, INS Vikrant already weighs 45,000 tons. Counting in the improvements that will be made in IAC-2, I guess the displacement would be quite close to the 50,000ton mark.

2) Indian Radar is more or less a given, MF-STAR has been banned from direct imports since Dec 2022. However, a 6m AAAU would require major changes to the island. We might see a downsized 4-4.5m AAAU. This would still be greater than 3m AAAU of the MF-STAR and would put us in the same league as the American AN/SPY-6 and Chinese Type 346B.

3) I highly doubt we are going to get rid of the Ak630 in the near term, it's been indigenized almost completely and coupled with BEL's Lynx U2 FCR, it more than enough for current threats.

4) I highly doubt we would develop something similar to RIM-116 as we already have VL-SRSAM. Maybe let's see if the Navy asks DRDO to modify it's VSHORADS for naval use.

Good to know that MF STAR is in negative import list,
Regarding ak 630, in my opinion replacing it is a necessity, it doesn't even have its own independent targeting system and is highly ineffective compared to other CIWS, there were some rumours about DRDO making an indigenous CIWS.

About RIM 116 equivalent, VL SRSAM fills a completely different role, like you said maybe we can see a VSHORAD based missile, which can double down as both anti air (RIM 116) and anti submarine (RBU 6000) hunter

Given that IAC 2's radar would be the main eye of the entire Armada, a 6m AAAU should be a given,

I don't think it would require so many changes that timelines would slip, so if timelines allow we should definitely go fo a 6m AAAU, given that our NGD would have the same

Seen... not possible in real... bcoz Bose Einstein condensate won't survive without power supply & that too in a controlled environment.
