It means they have done a background study on their threat perception. They do know what to expect from LCH.
So even if they go with LCH without ATGM, it means as per their threat perception, they could do without ATGM.

Yes, E-7 Wedgetail is a 360° coverage AWACS system mounted on top of a Boeing 737-700ER.
Airbus A320 family directly competes with the Boeing 737 family.

if they are still going to use same 1400 hp kraut truck engine-turned-tank engine MTU MB 838 Ka-501 V10 in it then it's not much worth it, already original arjun was designed with leopard 2's MTU MB 873 Ka-501 V12 ~1500 hp one in mind but US Arms Embargo and other meddling prevented transfer of that here so we had to make do with this engine - which is now further burdened with more load in Mk1A Arjun which turned out to be even slower, with limited range.

So better put a newer more powerful engine on it preferebly in 1500-1600 hp range, or not much worth it.
