Shipborne UAVs are in service. Over 40 in fact. MNRH is the Romeo. MCMV has become defunct as a concept. QRSAM is onboard the R class. Surface drones are in service as well, AUVs are in advanced R&D.
Shipborne UAV, yes I forgot, sir you mentioned it before
IN asked around 60plus MNRH, right ??
QRSAM for Kamorta-class and others, and IN shown interest in CAMM, now considering VL Astra
AUVs - yes
Surface drones - ?? can you give
The point is GoI unable to acquire 126 eft/rafale for IAF, and 6 aerial refuels, which is similar to IN p75i and minesweepers, In the case of mig21, lca R&D stuck due to USA sanctions, and due to the sudden rise of PLAAF as global power, IAF changed its requirement of light weight fighter to medium. and GoI cleared new engines for lca in 2008, also IN initial requirement was 57, now decreased to 26.
GoI prefer IAF first, then IA, at last IN. If IAF ask staggered purchase, GoI may by all rafales in all batches

They should just collaborate with HAL, that's their best bet than any private industry. We should have ordered another 44(AF)+26(Naval) and assembled in HAL with whatever TOT they give, set up MRO facility and be done with fighter imports for good. AF with 4 squads should be comfortable and rest they can just wait for tejas mk2. The MMRCA style competition in this case makes little sense now.
Difference b/w HAL and Dassault caused the collapse of MMRCA and due to disagreements with HAL, Dassault choose Ambani

The problem is IAF is hell bent on MRFA.

Climate-controlled hangar for P8I & other Naval assets. Also, talks are going about turning the great Nicobar into an Indian version of Okinawa. Spirit & direction is correct, but let's see if it sees the light of day.

Oh, you bet there will be left. It will be called the Islamic Republic of Hindustan.
First P-8I to land there was in 2013 and this week we're getting this. And as for this also, it's just a hanger for P-8I, Do-228 and Dhruv; there's close to zero other support available.

Definitely there's a plan to use A&N as a proper tri-service base, but things are going really slow.

Does that means navy is planning to operate 10 to 11 rafales from the two carriers considering best case availability?
Rafale can operate from Vikramaditya only in an emergency basis, no permanent deployment. The lifts were custom made to accomodate a MiG-29K with its wings folded and Rafales lack a folding wing.

It was bound to happen, it was only a matter of time.

Reliance was part of the now terminated machine gun trials and out of all the contenders it was the only one which kept on asking for extension of deadline for submission. So from quite a long time they're having bit trouble.

Sir any update about ruavs? I remember navy wanted those skelenders but it went nowhere and hal was supposed to bring ruav 200 for navy too but that project vanished in thin air so anything on that front?

My dudes the guy is bankrupt, what do you expect?
It's sad though that he isn't selling stuff like that Pipavav Shipyard to other non-fakir businesses.

Rafales will not be operating from INS Vikramaditya, they are exclusively meant for INS Vikrant.
Indian Navy has some 41 Mig 29K in it's inventory which will be deployed aboard the INS Vikramaditya, they have a 70% availability rate.
How many MiG 29K can the Vikramaditya carry at a time? Hopefully we have fixed the propulsion issues.
