There's no issue with Chinese camera...remember we might be the fourth country to have Anti-Satellite Missile, but we still don't have a centralized defence net; neither on public internet or standalone system. So as for those camera they don't connect to any network, they simply have an onboard recording system (the Indian technical term would be चिप) that records videos of say last 15 days. That's it

Hard to swallow that. Gully call centers have network rigged cameras.

I do not think so. IN recently ordered to change Chinese origins cameras.

Chinese are great for hacking others hardware and software thru different malwares that are not port thru internet. HikVision is banned in USA and has a very fuzzy hisyory like Huawei.

But the simple logic is whp are thw people that install such things in strategic places. Chinese might be thinking we are nuts...

Windows 10 or above.

M$ stopped support for Windows 7 in 2020.

Windows 10 support ends in 2025.

Its okay. Windows 7 is fine. Really.
These Chinese cameras are extremely easy to hack.

YouTubers hack these call center cameras and show the live footage of the CallCenter employees on their own systems.
exactly my point. I bet at any given moment Yanks are keeping an eye on our defence tech development.

This question I can answer...because we're "logically" morons

There are two ways of defence procurement; either COTS or using proper RFI process. If bought COTS then Chinese ones are the cheapest so dealers can add a good commission and if bought via RFI then also Chinese ones would be L1

The issue is not that the Chinese are making these cameras with purpose of hacking into different countries military installation.
It's the fact that Chinese have not good software and drivers for these camera. These comes with 2007-8 era drivers, extremely old protocols and softwares which offers no network security. You can hack them by simpler old tricks.

Pakistan bolte to phir bhi koi baat tha...itte bure din bhi nai aaye abhi goron ke.
Our whole transport fleet is theirs, attack helicopter too, naval ASW helicopters, surveillance platforms, HALE drones...they're least bothered about our defence tech development.

What camera and compromised systems cannot reveal, a compromised scientist seeking bobs and vagene pics will.

Faltu mein dimag ka dahi na karein.
But a compromised Chinese camera can reveal an Indian scientist sharing information for bob and vagene pics to Pakistan Husna forcing Chinese to facepalm and tip off our cybersecurity cell from a fake id on stupid our scientists are
Genius plan

China is a unilateral dictatorship. Their industrial espionage capabilities made them the next superpower with 18 trillion economy. Whether igs Huawei, Lenovo, ZTE, Xiamo or HikVision every one is answarable to the Party. Please do not forget there is no scrutiny or open democracy.

If Pakis ever use Indian cameras, RAW will be hell bent to spy on them using those. Now Chinese are master of tech spying. Think what they are doing.
