Well actually we all are correct; it has a diameter of both 225mm and 350mm.

Go through this

The "diameter where it's supposed to attach with a missile is roughly 250mm" not the whole booster but the narrower end of the booster. The diameter of the booster is listed in this schematic itself; 350mm.

So the actual missile is still of 225mm but the additional booster is of 350mm diameter.
We know there exists :
1. LRSAM
2. ERSAM
3. XRSAM

Now, we need to see if they are the M1, M2 and M3 missiles of Project LRSAM/Kusha.

The Dhruv fleet get exponentially more flight hours compared to Prachand; each day
Helicopters are bit more tough to fly than fighters

On a side note, theoretically the more Dhruvs would crash the safer Prachand and IMRH would be.
Though obviously practically it's not feasible coz each time you would lose millions of dollars in equipment and training.
