After operating Vikrant for 36 years, Virat for 30 years, Vikramaditya for 10 years and Vikrant for an year someone in Navy realised that it would be a good idea to operate UAVs from carriers.
But even after that he didn't say that they're planning to integrate UAV fleet on current carriers, no...the next one.

This simply shows how exceptionally visionary our planners are.
It's not just the military, almost every problem in the country today emerged from a lack of foresight. Its much clearer in the Armed Forces.

The Americans and the British and the French have operated carriers for even longer than us and they have yet to integrate a UAV fleet on their carriers. The Americans are currently developing a carrier based UAV tanker but that is yet to be inducted.
In fact to my knowledge no major navy with a carrier currently operates a UAV fleet.

If integrating a UAV fleet on a carrier was that important then the US navy or the Royal navy would have done it already. It's unfair to criticize our planner when no other major navy has integrated a UAV fleet on their carriers yet either.

So we can't do something unless we get a validation from the Americans and the British and the French.
Gotcha

Could be exercises .. loud booms could be aircraft going supersonic.. these travel a long distance.

first of all, fuck the Royal navy - they dont have spare change to keep ships at sea, let alone evolve a new doctrine around UAVs.
Second, the USN has enough money to deploy specialised manned aircraft. A UAV carrier is a cost cutting measure, and not something the USN actively wants to pursue because that will directly lead to Congressional budget cuts.
