And you really think that the round they'll develop after all these EOI and RFI would be a huge improvement over the ones we used to have!?

The jokes on you Mate
Can't argue there. When it comes to tanks (or armored vehicles in general), DRDO sucks balls.

Given the enemy they are supposed to face (Type 15 light tanks), the old rounds will definitely suffice. But I'm not sure whether those rounds are compatible with the new light tanks.
Bro light tanks will have to face heavy tanks too ....So

Ha re, from the oldest Centurion to the most modern 105mm, they all use the same NATO standard 105×617mmR cartridge.
Well, in that case, they can be used, I guess. But what if the PLA decides to supplement their light tanks with heavier MBTs?? Although, I'm not sure if the new rounds will be of much help either.

Then we'll again get caught with our pants down. We'll again come back to the drawing board. We'll again issue a RFI for medium weight tank
Nah, the T-90S should do the job just fine. Ok, may be they will need an engine upgrade.

German engine,Belgian turret :hail:everyone was making joke on how private players werent indigenous enough I will have blast seeing them defend this :rofl:and all of it in 25 tonnes with amphibious capability with a stupid plan to get 59 DRDO tanks and then get others in an open competition.lol
Will the gun be rifled or smoothbore? I noticed that many light tanks have rifled guns for some reason while most MBTs are smoothbore.
