Can't blame Israelis. They are too small and surrounded by Islamic cults from all sides. They can't afford to neglect china or any export revenue.I understood the true nature of the Israelis the day I learnt that they were hell bent on selling China the same Phalcon AWACS package which they charged us a bomb for. It was a crash course in International Relations for me. This was back in 2013/2014. From then on, I view 99% of our bilateral/multilateral engagements from a purely transactional perspective. Try to evaluate my post from that perspective.
Israelis would be better served prioritising our demands over that of Azerbaijan in the short term as well the long term. But then I am sure that they multiple people who are multiple magnitudes more intelligent than me guiding their decision makers. So let us wait and see how things unfold.
I know of a company in the US that charged over 2k $ for a component that cost them few dollars to make, because it was a small and obscure part of the whole missile and no one bothered to try and optimise the cost for it.Not sure where to post this but.
Sometimes the cost weaponry really baffles me. Even simple drones and missiles cost multiple times the sum of their components. Just look at what goes into a guided subsonic missile.A 20000 rs mobile phones can detect faces, while the rocket propellant and steel casing (heck go for a composite casing, it will not cost more than a lakh)
The russians export their kornet for an equivalent of 21 Lakh rupees per missile ( and that is among the cheapest of missiles) and it does not even have a seeker. Its like weapon manufacturers worldwide are trolling militaries and governments.
And its very hard to put a price on the hundreds if not thousands of hours poured into collective R&DI know of a company in the US that charged over 2k $ for a component that cost them few dollars to make, because it was a small and obscure part of the whole missile and no one bothered to try and optimise the cost for it.

Q- what about NSM purchase ??
Till date we haven't been able to stop Russia from selling arms to Pakistan, I doubt we have much sway over what Israel will do.Israelis are not in a position to dictate terms to us. Do not forget that India is Israel's LARGEST weapons purchaser and a much more promising prospect than Azerbaijan.
I wouldn't call the sale of 70 transport helicopters as selling weapons. Aside from selling 4 Mi-35s and no spares, Russia has not sold any other weapons. It is a very small pittance. And by the way, I bet that the Mi-35s are not even flying or operable due to lack of spares.Till date we haven't been able to stop Russia from selling arms to Pakistan, I doubt we have much sway over what Israel will do.
Mi-35 being overhauled.I wouldn't call the sale of 70 transport helicopters as selling weapons. Aside from selling 4 Mi-35s and no spares, Russia has not sold any other weapons. It is a very small pittance. And by the way, I bet that the Mi-35s are not even flying or operable due to lack of spares.
That's India overhauling Afghanistan helicopters, not Pakistani ones.Mi-35 being overhauled.

IAF Mi-35 attack helicopters undergoing overhaul, to add six years life

It would be really interesting if the 3rd option turned out to be true- dual band seeker with the wrap around antenna working on a different band than the primary seeker antenna which is Ku band
Air launch from medium aircraft.IN operates Brahmos from most of its capital warships. They are very satisfied with it. Even, the Next Generation vessels are going to use Brahmos. We are developing SLCM for the subs as Brahmos is too big for them and is very costly.
So, where exactly does the Brahmos-NG fits in all of this? The only case I can think of is using it on the SSN.
