Lulz. Mach 2.3-2.5 at 8km with 120km range? It seems DRDO is tryna fool us with an open secret of SFDR's actual capability.Details from DRDO2016 Annual report about SFDR,SANT,SAAW,NGARM,QRSAM, Pralay and Rudra

Read that last line of QRSAM. It says upgradation of Akash airforce launcher completed to meet QRSAM requirements QX-01 and QX-02. Any idea what they are talking about? And why is there a QRSAM requirement from Akash? Is it because Air Force QRSAM is not supposed to move much? Or is this stop gap?Details from DRDO2016 Annual report about SFDR,SANT,SAAW,NGARM,QRSAM, Pralay and Rudra

Looks like the missile motor is firing. Does that happen in a pop out test? I think not.Image depicts @DRDO_India's Man Portable Anti-tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) during a pop-out test. Source: #DRDOAnnualReport2017
QRSAM for Air Force would be for defending air asset like Air Field or ALG. So movement for such a system is not a priority like that in case of IA, where it would company the moving strike column.Read that last line of QRSAM. Static Motor firing and pop test might have completed separately much earlier.Looks like the missile motor is firing. Does that happen in a pop out test? I think not.
