Fire-and-forget and lock-and-launch are just different names of the same thing. You tell the missile before launching to engage a particular target by locking on it or you fire and forget about it as it self guide itself.

Both the missiles are fire-and-forget

Both are 3rd generation ATGMs so nothing new or old here

And as both the missiles are equipped with TVC, they can very well so a top attack

Try snail-mail. My experience that has better luck with responses. Those also get filed away in government record.
