oh lol.... Its 300 rounds per rifle, not 3000. Thats barely one full combat loadactually, not that much tbh, since they ordered 70k rifles. Just around 3000 rounds per rifle, and it will get consumed in 2-3 years at most in training itself.
It should include turbofan engine or propeller engine option. IMHO propellers are best for carrying cargos under 30 tons while turbofans are best for carrying cargo over 35 tons. I do not know which engine type will perform better in the Himalayas where this plane would be most used. It does need short takeoff and landing on rough airstrips capability and I think propeller engines can deal with debris and rough conditions better than turbofan engines.

God knows which aircrafts will IAF choose, IMO it should be between C-130J or A-400M. Chances of C-390 are slim.
