This is BMP 2 my friend. Ours does not have modular functionality like armour addition like things. Just plain old BMP design made during Soviet Times.

For modern one look at L&T FICV or Russian Kurganets - 25

Some curious take away from the report. Back in 2022 Ajay Bhatt said the we are importing Themis for past 3 years. It means since 2019 we are importing Themis.

Capability always triumphs kool in battle field. As @Aniruddha Mulay already said, in its earlier variant, it lacked hunter-killer capability. Along with it, then too it had a capability to carry 12 missiles. 8 in ready to fire and 4 in storage. So a turret with 6 missiles having a lower signature is much better then a kooler turret with 8 missiles and higher signature in war field.
