You have a lot of hopes from this unit of BHEL . Consider ourselves lucky if they manage to put BHEL stamp on CKD kits by themselves .

this is GoI financial approval for total cost for each of these project, simple divisions of total cost / number of items will not work here.

training sumulators infra + ammo + spares + maintence repair combined over a period of years will probably cost that much.

Infact I have no hope from BHEL in defense field. The best I can hope is they ultimately learn to copy it like the way OFB did with Bofors.

A panelist in a news debate was saying range extension kit costs 1/10th of imported ones . Cant find where i saw it .

Wonder why OFB never bothered with a longer handguard and an adjustable stock for the MAG

like what Norinco did and in a lighter package too

Not sure if this was discussed here but ins anvesh seems to have two different types of launchers SLS that we already know in yellow and a VLS in red which wasnt known previously...the vls seems to have very large dimensions...could it be our own UVLS?!
