I don’t see this tweet in his timeline, can you post the link? TIA.
I mean how can they integrate Agni-5 under c-17A test from a C17 underbelly will definitely kick up some whirlwinds!
Now these are the types of questions I loveI mean how can they integrate Agni-5 under c-17
Forget weight and all other physics will usa allow it
Chill, that was a joke! A5 from air said that article, so tried to imagine what it would look like. For reference, Kinzhal is a likely candidate for comparison, but yeah, the post was not serious!I mean how can they integrate Agni-5 under c-17

The Kizilelma development timeframe looks very impressive and it would be interesting to see how effective it is. Its relatively low payload means that it still can't replace fighters in air to ground. Its semi-stealth body shaping should give it a chance in air to air but that would depend on effectiveness of the AI that controls it.You can definitely question the efficacy of a Fighter-UCAV. You can point out the level of maturity of Turkish jet engine. Or you can simply deny everything by saying they don't have sufficient technological advancements.
But can you ignore this pic?View attachment 186361
We have picked up a negative trait of bringing down others to cope with our own competence. You can definitely question the efficacy of a Fighter-UCAV. You can point out the level of maturity of Turkish jet engine. Or you can simply deny everything by saying they don't have sufficient technological advancements.

The first flight of Tai fx has been pulled forward too.The Kizilelma development timeframe looks very impressive and it would be interesting to see how effective it is. The Ghatak should be stealthier given its flying wing design which should also make it more survivable and capable. However a flying wing design is much more difficult to master and the development timelines will be much delayed compared to the Kizilelma.
We need private companies with deep pockets in aerospace industry .You can definitely question the efficacy of a Fighter-UCAV. You can point out the level of maturity of Turkish jet engine. Or you can simply deny everything by saying they don't have sufficient technological advancements.

That's a spacex rocketdamm
check the second tweet
What it'll replace is burden from pilots. Now every time the scramble alarm will sound these drones will take off. Remember we always had the concept of Ground-Controlled Interception; this drone will simply take that to new levels. Also if you look at it from the perspective of a loyal wingman then the payload will seem normal. Its relatively low payload means that it still can't replace fighters in air to ground.
So you're saying that our very first try at stealth technology and also very first attempt at flying wing will be better than RQ-170?The Ghatak should be stealthier given its flying wing design which should also make it more survivable and capable.
It takes decade for a private firm to get to this level of tech.We need private companies with deep pockets in aerospace industry .
We already have the talent ecosystem and required academia . Best move forward is to privatize PSUs .It takes decade for a private firm to get to this level of tech.
A private enterprise incorporated today will take at least till 2035- 2040 To arrive at the same stage.
Kudos to Turks, they have proven 100 odd Motivated people+Full gov backing > dozen sarkari afsar run factories and Organisation with workforce of 10 k.
The issue is not our scientists but management.
Might be a sweeping statement but babu ,gormint, sarkari culture does not breed competence to the level of private industries. This is not saying our own private industries are any better.
TAI has experienced fellas working for them who have been previously associated with Europeans and North American Industries.
Having a large pool of CS/IT engineers not knowing anything except "xx lpa package" doesn't qualify into any one of those aforementioned terms.talent ecosystem and required academia
another aspect to be kept in mind, the role of being part of security alliance plays in these sorts of things. It takes decade for a private firm to get to this level of tech.

Kizilelmas Indian equivalent would be the CATS warrior not the Ghatak. The Kizilelma development timeframe looks very impressive and it would be interesting to see how effective it is. You ll find indians in most of the top R&D institution . And they have achieved a lot in foreign countries . Never had the required ecosystem to absorb them .Having a large pool of CS/IT engineers not knowing anything except "xx lpa package" doesn't qualify into any one of those aforementioned terms.
Open any patent database and show me how many actual innovation are there. We don't even have a R&D mindset, let alone ecosystem. It's been hardly two three years since we are seeing any trace of real world innovation; be it an army officers making machine pistol or a random guy cloning SCAR.
