To see something that is 600km away, it only need to be a little less that 30km altitude, so that's not really out of the ordinary.
The spectacular sights of today's test AFAIK is due to the timing of the launch, which is just after sunset - so it's dark on land but the the sun is still shining few 10s to 100s of km altitude. So the exhaust gases from the rocket and vapour create a kind of a cloud which reflects the sunlight at that altitude and is visible for 100s of km away.
You'll find similar videos of spacex dusk time launches from Vandenberg, IIRC there is even a Anti ballistic missile test also where you can see the target and interceptor missiles maneuver in space.
Yes I did the calculation, it only needs to be ~31km in altitude, BUT it will be visible at the horizon. See the missile something way above the horizon, which means the original altitude of the missile is somewhere like 500km minimum.

In Odisha, It was sighted in 10 different districts. Even though there are reasons such as the dusk launch to have these kinds of characteristics but feels like its something different :eek1::shock:o_O, I am getting anxiety :scared2:

The last district mentioned in the picture "Sundergarh" is in the western part of Odisha, around 500 km away from the testing site (Can not authenticate the pictures though, captured from the local channels )

This is actually insane, half the subcontinent just watched the Agni5 flying its depressed trajectory .
Somewhere some cheen afsar is wondering why they bothered sending that tracking ship at all. And someone in DRDO/MOD is face palming right now.

Depressed trajectory of 5400 km , what's the original range then ?? 😉

We have A-1, A-2, A-3, A-4 and A-5 where A-3 is our heaviest and A-5 is our longest range missile.

We now even have A-1P. Also, there are reports that A-4Mk2 is already under development and soon it will be tested.

A-1P will most probably replace A-1, A-2 and will serve as deterrence against Pakistan. A-4MK2 will replace A-3 and A-4 and will be a China centric missile. Both A-1P and A-4MK2 will be MIRV and MaRV capable. This will streamline our deployment and we will have two separate systems for two adversaries.

If A-4Mk2 is our deterrence against China then where exactly A-5 sits in the hierarchy (or the reverse)?

One possibility can be A-4Mk2 will be our new heaviest throw weight missile and A-5 will act as deterrence against China.

EEL is developing long range rockets Maheshwarastra1 (150Km) & Maheshwarastra 2(290Km). Will be ready in the next 1.5 years. Long range Artillery is a must need for countering Chinese systems. Don't think we are sending a rocket to destroy enemy rocket but the point is we can do similar missions. And can do counter Artillery fire . Versatility is also important we can use Loitering munitions, long range Artillery, BM,CM etc to destroy enemy facilities.

Interesting! India exported 0.338 lapua magnum sniper rifles.

there is a gujju kahawat that goes like,
ghar na chhokraa ghanti chaate, paarkaa aato khaay
= ghar ke bachche chakki chaate, dusre khaae aataa

🤷‍♂️ do i need to say anything else...

besides are they considering PLR, SSS etc private players as well in this export list ? then highly likely that we exported DAN .338 "manufactured" here because if it was AWEIL or SSS stuff they would not have stopped putting updates about it every 10 minutes on SM
